Rubber screens for screening
GMB screens are composed of modular panels (500 mm wide) consisting of a vulcanized rubber screening surface with internal Fe37 steel reinforcement. The rubber compounds, with various hardness and elasticity levels, are adapted to the material to be screened.
Main features:
- High abrasion resistance
- High quality and productivity
- Simple assembly and replacement
- Reduced noise levels
- Anti-clogging and anti-caking
Applications:
Used for years in quarries, steel mills, glassworks, mines, and waste treatment plants.
Advantages compared to conventional screens:
- Longer service life
- Easier assembly without modifications to the screen
- Efficient self-cleaning thanks to micro-vibrations and anti-adhesive rubber
- No clogging, even with damp or sticky materials
- Conical holes to prevent obstructions even with fine granulates

Rubber screen for sifting: with and without washing

Without washing (dry): For dry screening, a rubber with 35-50 Shore hardness is preferred, offering greater elasticity and adaptability to the material being processed.

With washing (wet): For applications involving the use of water, a rubber with 70 Shore hardness is recommended, as it is more resistant to abrasion in wet environments.
