The core of SIDERSIL® SW-RE tapes consists of an open-structure wire rope warp, on which a highly elastic weft is woven. This combination gives the tapes high tensile strength and low elongation, essential characteristics for optimum performance.
The weft consists of two staggered rows of stiff cables, one above and one below the warp. This design gives the belt a transverse stiffness that ensuresoptimum conveyor performance, preventing screws or bolts from damaging the belt or spilling out. The maximum tensile strength reaches 2000 N/mm, ensuring strength even under demanding working conditions.
The SIDERSIL® SW-RE series is produced with a closed edge for added strength and durability.
A key role is played by the special weave, whose balanced structure enables the belt to maintain its geometry even under concentrated loads or sudden shocks. The staggered arrangement of rigid cables generates a “protective net” effect that helps dissipate transverse stresses, reducing wear and tear and increasing product life.
Also crucial is the quality of the compounds used, developed with advanced technologies and selected materials. The compounds ensurehigh warp adhesion andexcellent resistance to abrasion, high temperatures, oils and chemicals. Their formulation is designed to ensure controlled elasticity, dimensional stability and consistent behavior over time, even in hostile environments.
Thanks to these elements, SIDERSIL® SW-RE belts represent a technologically advanced solution that combines reliability, durability and high mechanical performance, even in the most critical industrial applications.
