The quality of the rubber, the strength of your belt.

Selecting the correct material conveying compound is a crucial aspect of ensuring the durability and efficiency of the conveyor belt. Conveyor belt compound must be selected based on several factors, such as the type of material to be conveyed, operating conditions, and working environment.

Abrasion resistance

The use of an anti-abrasive compound in rubber conveyor belts is essential to ensure long life and optimum performance in work environments subject to heavy wear. These special compounds are designed to resist erosion caused by continuous contact with abrasive materials, such as stones and glasses.

Oil resistance

An oil-resistant compound is designed to withstand prolonged contact with oily substances, which could otherwise cause a standard belts to swell and deform, a phenomena that impair the proper movement of the belt on the rollers, making operation less efficient.

Heat resistance

Heat-resistant compounds, designed to withstand temperatures up to 300°C, are ideal for conveyor belts used in high-temperature environments, such as industrial furnaces or melting plants. These special compounds protect the belt material from wear caused by extreme heat, ensuring consistent performance, operational safety and longer service life under severe working conditions.

Cut resistance

The cut-resistant compound is designed to protect conveyor belts from damage caused by sharp or abrasive objects that could cut or compromise the integrity of the material. With a reinforced and durable composition, this compound provides increased durability and reliability, reducing maintenance and downtime costs, especially in work environments where the risk of mechanical damage is high, such as in the recycling or metal processing industries.

Antistatic

Antistatic compounds in conveyor belts are designed to prevent the buildup of electrical charges, reducing the risk of hazardous discharges and improving safety in sensitive environments such as those with flammable dust and gases.

Fire resistance

Fire retardant compounds in conveyor belts are designed to resist fire and prevent the spread of flames. They are used in high fire risk environments, such as chemical or mining plants, to ensure safety and protect people and equipment.

Fire and Oil resistance

The flame- and oil-resistant compound called MOR-K is specifically designed to resist both contact with oils and fuels and the risk of fire. It provides advanced protection in industrial environments where flammable or oily substances are handled, preventing damage and ensuring safety, reliability and longevity of the plant.

Fire resistance for underground use

The compound designed for underground use is a combination of fire-retardant and antistatic properties designed to withstand working conditions in closed, high-risk environments, such as mines or tunnels. This compound prevents the buildup of electrical charges, reducing the risk of dangerous discharges, while at the same time providing fire protection, preventing the spread of flames in potentially hazardous environments.
