SECONDARY SCRAPERS

Secondary scrapers ensure effective cleaning of the underside of the conveyor belt, improving efficiency and reducing wear and tear on the system. Easy to install, they are available in a variety of materials to suit different operating conditions. Compatible with various types of belts, they offer long service life and reduce required maintenance.

STRENGTHS.

Secondary scrapers ensure effective cleaning of the conveyor belt, improving efficiency, durability and reliability of the entire system.

Secondary scrapers are a key component in ensuring optimal cleaning of the underside of the conveyor belt. They are strategically located on the outer side of the return belt, near the motor drum, where they perform a decisive cleaning action in removing material residues that may remain adhered to the belt surface after passing over the head drum. This feature contributes significantly to maintaining the operational efficiency of the entire conveyor system, ensuring a cleaner working environment free of unwanted buildup and potential obstructions.

Secondary scrapers are quick and easy to install, designed to integrate seamlessly with most existing systems without requiring complex structural modifications. They are available with blades made from a variety of materials, such as polyurethane for light applications, tungsten or Widea for heavier duty, offering high wear resistance and long operating life even under demanding working conditions. The choice of blade material can be calibrated according to the nature of the material being conveyed, thus ensuring maximum efficiency and durability.

Suitable for belt widths between 400 and 2000 mm, secondary scrapers are compatible with both unidirectional and reversible systems. Upon request, they can also be made of stainless steel, an ideal solution for particularly aggressive or corrosion-prone environments, such as in the chemical and food industries or where there is high humidity.

These devices prove particularly effective in handling dry, low-sticky materials, but thanks to their design and construction features, they can also adapt to wetter or stickier materials, removing excess residue and conveying it neatly to the discharge area. Installation at the bottom of the belt, right in the return zone, allows for deep and continuous cleaning of the bottom surface of the belt, significantly reducing the need for manual maintenance.

In conclusion, the use of secondary scrapers not only improvesplant hygiene and efficiency, but also ensures greater system reliability, reduced downtime, decreased component wear and tear, and extended life of the conveyor belt and surrounding structures.

PRIMARY SCRAPERS

Primary scrapers, installed tangentially on the motor drum, remove debris from the conveyor belt, improving cleanliness and operational efficiency. They are compatible with belts from 400 to 2000 mm and offer polyurethane, tungsten or widea blades, depending on the degree of abrasiveness. The simple tensioning system and wear indicator make maintenance easy.

STANDARD CROSS SCRAPERS

Cross scrapers ensure continuous and effective cleaning of the underside of belts, while also removing sludge and viscous materials. They are made of special rubber or polyurethane, resistant to wear and tear even under severe conditions. The cross shape and optional support brackets make them easy to install and increase system efficiency.
